#Games like restaurant rush series
The Papa’s cooking game series is a seminal work in the cooking time management genre, and could arguably be the one that really set the genre on an upward spiral. Otherwise, it really is a fun and enjoyable little game. So really, you should pick this game up for free, and enjoy it as much as you can before deciding whether you want to pay to progress or not. All that being said, one of the biggest problems of Cooking Fever is the paywall that you hit half-way through the game which makes it almost impossible to continue. Not only that, but the upgrades themselves also dole out the progression and difficulty of play, meaning that you won’t be banging your head against the wall out of frustration. As you progress through the game, you slowly get new recipes that increase in small increments of difficulty. Where Cooking Fever really stands out is its pacing. In that regard, it’s quite fun to progress and see what new things you can cook and offer to people. In Happy Chef 2, you travel around the globe cooking, with each new place offering a new menu and things too cook. The one down side is that there is quite a lot of clicking involved which can be frustrating, but buying upgrades can help a ton in that regard. The gameplay is pretty much the same in any other cooking game, the characters come in, order something, you cook it with a couple of clicks, hand it over and they’re on their way. Happy Chef 2 doesn’t break the mold, but rather adds to it more than anything else. There’s also a bunch of decorating you can do, which is always a lot of fun!
#Games like restaurant rush upgrade
Of course, like other cooking games, you can also upgrade your appliances which make your life infinitely easier. Of course, there are some restrictions involved in how much you can purchase in one go and how much you can hold, although over time and with enough upgrades, you can overcome that little hurdle.Īside from that, the rest of the game is pretty on-par with what you’d expect, with the bots coming into the restaurant, choosing an item and requiring you to cook it for them. As you go progress through the story, you unlock more and more stores to buy your ingredients from increasing the pool of what you can cook. Unfortunately, this tends to stop people in their tracks, but in all honesty, it adds some realism to the proceedings. Taking a slight leave from most cooking games and Kitchen Scramble, Restaurant Story 2 has you buying ingredients before cooking them. Restaurant Story 2 – (Android, IOS) Image courtesy of
